 In production techonlogy-1 you are going to deal with machine which are used in industry for manufacturing processes. 

 Every Industry have manufacturing processes, like moulding/castings, machining operations (drilling, boring, turning, welding, broaching, polishing etc..). For these processes machine have used.


You will study various machines in this subject. First of all you will learn about general purpose machines, which are very important and fundamental machines.

General purpose machine are used for mfg. Processes as following
